Power Requirements Note: The MLR initial inrush power requirement is 1Amp. @ 24VDC. Other factors must be taken into consideration when
selecting a power source, i.e. wire run, wire gauge, other electrical loads, etc.
Note: Although PRECISION Power Supplies are not required, RPSMLR2 & RPSMLR2BB Power Supplies are available.
Two brown/white non-polarized power wires

Note: Termination of the sensor wires is optional, but provides positive confirmation of latch retraction when used with the RPSMLR2 or

The MLR option can be ordered as a field retrofit kit to accommodate existing APEX 2000 Series exit devices
MLR can be retrofitted to existing ELR exit devices

Note: MLR is not compatible with certain product options. For example, MLR is not compatible with mechanical dogging.

Maximum wire runs between the power supply and device are as follows:
200 feet with 18 gauge wire
Wire Run 320 feet with 16 gauge wire
500 feet with 14 gauge wire
800 feet with 12 gauge wire
